For me, the most important part of interior design is the initial feeling the space provokes. I can’t help but take notice of the lighting, the materialism and the spatial flow of a room. I take a moment to appreciate the elements I liked, and what I may have done differently. I like to think about what factors may have led to a particular design choice. This is how I knew being an interior designer was the right path for me.

My design goal isn’t just to create a beautiful space, but to create a space where people feel comfortable. Through my studies at Design Centre Enmore, I have learned how to curate spaces through a range of styles that are not only beautiful but also liveable. I am fascinated by how different colours and textures can evoke a feeling and how lighting can completely change the feel of a space. I am eager to apply my fascination and the skills I have developed at DCE, in a real-life application.
