DCE Interior Design

Xenia Ieroianni

Diploma of Interior Design

My interest in interior design grew from a deep appreciation for how environments influence the way people think, feel and connect. Coming from a background in marketing, I have always been drawn to the human psyche, and how environments can impact human emotion, experience and conviction. Interior design felt like a natural extension of that, translating emotion into spatial form where every material, line and light source contributes to a cohesive feeling of balance and harmony.

Studying at Enmore TAFE has allowed me to transform creative curiosity into practical skill. I have especially enjoyed learning how concept development and spatial planning can bring meaning and identity to a space. The process of building ideas from research through to resolved design has been both a great challenge and fulfilment. Looking ahead, I hope to continue developing my design voice through residential and adaptive reuse projects, creating interiors that communicate, connect and leave a lasting impression.
