DCE Interior Design

Misaki Angela Pease

Diploma of Interior Design

With over seven years of experience as an interior designer in Japan, I have worked on a range of interior projects.

Early in my career, I gained experience in retail spaces, designing environments that combined aesthetic trends with enhanced customer experience. Later, I specialised in office design, creating workplaces that support comfort, concentration, and long-term well-being.

Growing up in a multicultural household, I experienced both the delicate refinement of Japanese design and the bold dynamism of Western aesthetics. This inspired me to pursue a career in interior and architectural design, so I could create spaces that celebrate and harmonize diverse cultural influences.

Currently, I am working as a freelance designer while completing a Diploma of Interior Design at TAFE Enmore, where I have developed practical skills in sustainable design and 3D modeling using Revit.

In addition to retail and office projects, I’m also interested in educational environments—an area connected to my background, including a teaching license obtained in Japan. Looking ahead, I aim to work across diverse sectors, always focusing on designing spaces that enrich human experience and promote well-being.
