Ashley Dobrovic
Diploma of Interior Design
I’ve always been drawn to creative fields and the way design can shape how we live, feel, and connect with a space. My passion lies in crafting interiors that evoke comfort, security, and a genuine sense of home. What began as a personal interest grew into a determination to pursue interior design professionally, to challenge myself, refine my skills, and bring ideas to life through spaces that are both functional and emotionally resonant.
Studying interior design at Enmore TAFE strengthened my practical skills and hands-on experience. I particularly enjoyed exploring how design theory translates into real-world application, from concept development to material selection and spatial planning. Working at a joinery company alongside my studies deepened my understanding of craftsmanship and construction, bridging the gap between creative vision and tangible outcomes. These experiences have shaped my design approach: one grounded in thoughtful detail, collaboration, and creating spaces that authentically reflect the people who inhabit them.
Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue growing through real-world experience. I hope to join a design firm where I can collaborate with others, learn from experienced designers, and contribute to creating inspiring, well-crafted spaces.
