Bachelor of Interior Design
My design vision centres on creating interiors that serve people first — particularly those who are often overlooked by mainstream design. I believe that interior design has a social responsibility to support inclusivity, accessibility, and wellbeing, especially within the context of Australia’s ongoing housing and cost-of-living crisis.
I am passionate about designing for all groups and communities, ensuring that everyone has access to spaces that are functional, emotionally supportive, and aesthetically considered. My work challenges the perception that comfort and quality belong only to luxury design, instead re-imagining how smaller, smarter, and more sustainable spaces can foster belonging and dignity.
Tiny homes and compact living models are a key area of interest for me. They represent an opportunity to create affordable, adaptable, and environmentally responsible housing that reflects modern values. Smaller-scale design encourages innovation, sustainability, and personalisation, allowing spaces to be both efficient and deeply human.
I am also driven by the psychology of space — how colour, light, and materiality influence emotional stability, learning, and behaviour. I aim to design environments that nurture growth, connection, and self-worth, recognising how physical spaces can either reinforce or relieve.
Moving forward, I hope to further my understanding of sustainable and environmental design practices, combining research-based knowledge with creative exploration to design spaces that not only respond to human needs but actively shape healthier, fairer futures.
