Akram Chaabou
Bachelor of Interior Design
My interest in studying interiors was born from my interest in graphic design and illustration, this evolved duing my time at Enmore and grown into a life passion.
At Enmore, I have delighted in engaging with my peers and teachers, sharing ideas and learning from their work.
I aspire to work in an environment that values sustainability and wellbeing, building for the future of our communities. My passion lay in residential spaces, working closely with clients to achieve a space that promotes comfort, security and healthy lifestyles. I am also intereste in large scale public projects that foster community and and engage with its surroundings. My approach to interior design is driven by my interest in the architecture of the past and present, drawing inspiration from spaces around the world. I believe designing our built environemts begins with making a gesture of reciprocity, an offering to the people, the land and to the future. I am driven by creating spaces that promote well-being and healthy lifestyles, that help build relationships with each other and with our surroundings.
