DCE Interior Design

Mia Graham

Diploma of Interior Design

I’m Mia, a graduating interior design student from TAFE DCE Enmore. I was always passionate about arts and creativity from a young age, and that love for creativity, drawing, painting, experimenting with colour, naturally pushed me toward interiors. Stepping into interior design felt like an extension of everything I enjoyed: translating emotion into visuals, shaping how people feel in a space, and using colour theory to create environments that can genuinely shift someone’s mood.

Over my studies, I’ve grown confident in Revit, SketchUp, InDesign and Photoshop, and I love using these tools to bring ideas to life in a way that feels real and immersive. Interior design became this perfect blend of my artistic background and my fascination with how spaces can connect with people on a deeper, more personal level.

My approach to design is all about creating spaces that truly reflect the people who use them. I take the time to understand a client’s personality, routines, and the colours and textures they connect with, then translate that into a space that feels authentically theirs. It’s not just about aesthetics for me, it’s about shaping an environment that supports how someone wants to live and feel, a space that feels like an extension of their identity.
