Olivia Heszberger

Bachelor of Interior Design

Thinking outside the box has always been Olivia’s drive. She has strength in re-imagining spaces, adapting materiality and existing fabrication and creating meaning and purpose through design. But it’s not just design she challenges, it’s how she shapes your perspective through the senses. How she can challenge the users of the space to create their own meaning and sense of place and belonging through design.

Olivia’s realisation for design didn’t come till later. Beginning off her career in Veterinary Science, Olivia realised that there was something amiss in her world. Creativity. Completing a Diploma in Building Design, she was able to experience and studyarchitecture in Denmark through a six-month exchange program at VIA University, Horsens. The exposure to the heart of Architecture and design encouraged and fuelled her passion even more gaining cultural and an international understanding of what design truly means.

Continuing through to the Bachelor of Interior Design, Olivia’s out of the box creativity presented itself in ways she didn’t know she was capable of. Her hands on skills in Revit, Adobe Suits, Twin Motion, hand sketches and visual communication are at professional industry standard giving her the tools she needs to exceed within the design industry. These skills for Olivia have been enhanced by working closely with a highly qualified and experienced Architect and Interior Designer with extensive completed international projects. Her passion to ensure the users wants, needs and experience are considered first before the design presents itself separates her approach from others. She designs for people.
