With prior experience from a design firm, working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and Make-Up and Photography courses, I have always been interested in developing my design career.
Catalyst Knock Out, a mix martial arts pop-up structure designed to disrupt the chosen environment, The Louvre. Admirers of the artwork expecting a peaceful and delicate space, will pass by the gym full of body throws and punching (safely of course). The open fist concept demonstrates the visually aggressive nature of the sport and the triangular design relates to the frames of I.M Pei’s Pyramid in The Louvre reception area. The materiality of black leather and red tatami mats, add to disrupt the neutral sandstone environment.

Shifting Linear Collaboration Tunnel
The Serenity Green, an educational & wellness hub for the gender diverse located in the Newtown Tram Shed Depot. The concept for the project involves shifting and geometric triangular forms to represent the stages that individuals experience throughout their life changes. The materiality and overall design was to bring comfort and welcoming attributes whilst also making the space dynamic within a large square building. All walls offset the main timber tunnel structure, creating a seamless layout without compromising the building’s integrity.
