Dione’s Colombian background has enriched her love of colour and her connection with the cultural emblems of the country. This is evident in her vibrant personal styling and persona. Her strong organisation and customer service skills have evolved from her experience managing patient treatment programs in the dental industry in Australia and overseas.
Through her life experiences, Dione has developed a keen interest in and appreciation of minimalist design. She takes great pleasure in observing the culmination of a highly resolved aesthetically pleasing solution. Her passion for the order is strongly connected to her appreciation for a minimalist approach.
STRANDS FUSE HOTEL POP UP
“Strands” The hotel pop-up event is centred around the craft of weaving. It includes workshops, demonstrations, and immersive art related to weaving techniques and textile art.
The event embraces sustainability and ethical sourcing, with a focus on community involvement and eco-friendly practices. Additionally, “Strands” celebrates cultural heritage, encourages connecting with people, and promotes diversity through cross-cultural experiences and collaborations.

CONFINED DWELLING
The brief required an interior design proposal for a residential space featuring open plan living. The house, located in Sydney’s inner west, is narrow and has experienced fire damage. Additionally, it falls within a heritage conservation area.
Enmore is situated in the vibrant and eclectic Sydney Inner West. The design proposal is for a couple seeking to experience inner-city life and capitalize on easy living in the heart of a bustling city.
The design concept draws inspiration from the ladders in Joan Miró’s paintings, exploring the idea of escape. It serves as a temporary distraction from the reality of routine — a retreat to a place that breaks the busyness of life and allows one to feel at home.
